Sections, Meetings and Location

11th Keighley (Cullingworth) Scout Group meets at Group Headquarters in the West Yorkshire village of Cullingworth, located approximately 7 miles west of Bradford in the UK.

Cullingworth Scout Group admits boys and girls to all Sections.  Cullingworth has Beaver, Cub Scout and Scout Sections.  The age groups are shown below.  However, iIn general, the young people will be encouraged to move when they are ready.  They can move earlier or later if they need a new challenge or need a little more time to complete their badge-work, or simply to coincide with their friends.  It is hoped that in this way all members will be able to get more out of their Scouting experience.

Beaver Scouts: 6 to 8 years
Cub Scouts: 8 to 10.5 years
Scouts: 10.5 to 14 years
Explorer Scouts: 14 to 18 years
Scout Network: 18 to 25 years

Explorer Scouts and the Scout Network are catered for outside the group.  Young people over 14 years old interested in Explorer Scouts or the Scout Network should get in touch with Keighley District or contact Cullingworth Group Scout Leader for further information.
